Arizona Students' Association
A student-led, 501c4 non-profit
"Since 1974, the Arizona Students’ Association has advocated on behalf of the
students of Arizona’s three public universities. As a student-led, 501c4 non-profit, ASA
is dedicated to “freeing” higher education. Arizona’s anti-union, right to work laws have
stimied student and worker upward mobility for too long. On average, workers in right to
work states make $10,000 less per year than their counterparts. Many of our Arizona
students work part or full time jobs to be able to afford their cost of attendance. As
students in Arizona have begun to unionize on their campuses we are excited to
support Arizona Works Together’s effort to strengthen unions through a statewide ballot
initiative and increase worker power."
